Marty and Tracey in Istanbul, October 2013

This blog was created in May 2011, as a means to research themes of interest for a trip to Turkey September – October 2011, where Tracey and Marty worked on the ‘cultural strangers’ project as part of an artist-in-residence at Babayan Culture House.

Since then, Geokult has continued as a collaborative project, driven by shared interests in mapping, geography, humanity and sustainability. This includes participation in a range of activities including SCANZ2013, in New Plymouth, New Zealand in Jan/Feb 2013.
